As the people of Ireland finally have their chance to recover some level of lost Vitamen D with the welcome sight of sunshine, Limerick Racecourse are preparing the final touches for the onset of the true summer racing experience. The Twilight Summer evenings are an established and fundamental ingredient in the LRC racing calendar, they combine all that is required for a night of unequalled enjoyment.
The two June dates for your calendar are the 12th and 18th with the 1st race of at 6.00pm and 5.30pm respectively. Both nights will feature flat cards with €85,000 in prize money available on the 12th and the Listed Martin Molony stakes of €42,500 the feature on the 18th the racing is sure to be of the highest calibre. It is worth noting that the recent 1000 Guineas winner Bethran from the Dermot Weld stable won her maiden at our first flat card on the 13th April 2010, we may just have another future classic winner in June!
What would Twilight Racing be without the music, luckily we have secured two fantastic acts for June. The 12th will see the return of Gerry Fish and the Mudbug Club, with a mix of the old and new, this will be a night for dancing. Republic Of Loose will play the 18th, having played at Oxygen, T in the Park and Glastonbury in recent years and nominated for awards at both the Meteors and Choice they are a band with a following judging by the pre booked sales.

Free Car parking is provided at the track or you can avail of the Bus Eireann service from Colbert station before and after racing. When music finishes a FREE bus will run direct to the SinBin on Howley's Quay with a €5 concession for entrance to the Sin Bin on the 12th and on the 18th FREE admission for anyone with their racecard.
